Are You Drinking Quality Water?

Over 70% of the body comprises of water, and therefore we need to pause to consider whether or not the water that we ingest is contributing to the health of the brain, bowels, bones, glands, skin, and especially the blood. But just what kind of water is ideal for the human body to function optimally? Is tap water safe to drink? Are all bottled waters created equal? What exactly is the criteria for high-quality water?
The answer is 5-fold.
1. Purity - Water that has not been treated properly can contain organic and inorganic materials, including microbes such as bacterium, parasites, fungus and their waste products. Water that is contaminated by any of these can cause imbalances in the blood. It’s so dangerous that you shouldn’t even cook with contaminated water! The excretions of micro-organisms are intended to decompose our bodies. Because these creatures thrive in an environment where there is a lack of oxygen, they proliferate upon death of the host, simply because you stop breathing. As they begin to excrete, body cells break down, and decomposition sets in. It pains me to know that many people are living with an abundance of micro-organisms in the body, and particularly in the blood… and the micro-organisms are excreting! The human organism begins to die, while still alive. If you want clean blood, you need clean water.
2. Alkalinity - Most waters are either acidic or neutral, and therefore do not have the strength to neutralize acids upon ingestion. Since the human body is continually creating acid as a by-product of energy-use, it is important that the water you ingest has the ability to buffer acidity. You must take the time to measure the pH of your water. In other words, you have to determine whether or not the water you are drinking is acidic, neutral or alkaline. This can be done with pH strips (or litmus paper), which you can purchase either online, or at your local health store. The strips change color depending on the pH level of the water they are dipped into. The strips will also come with a color chart and corresponding numbers so that you can easily determine the pH level of your water. The pH of your water is measured on a scale of 0 to 14. The number 7 is neutral. Anything that measures below 7 is acidic, and anything that measure above 7 is alkaline. If I ask you to drink a glass of acidic water right now, your alkaline mineral reserves will be depleted in an effort to neutralize the acids in the water you drank. To prevent this from happening, I recommend drinking water with a pH of 9.5 (or higher, for those with high toxicity/acidity). Ideally, you would move toward that number gradually.
3. Electricity- The body runs on electricity...and so does the blood! In order to conduct electricity, you need electrons. Water that is saturated with protons is acidic, and therefore dampens electrical charges in the blood. Water that is saturated with electrons is alkaline, and conducts electricity. Bases are negatively charged, and acids are positively charged. Alkaline / base water therefore carries a negative charge, and attracts positively charged acids/toxins. This is how positively charged impurities can be chelated (bound together) and removed. As a result, the electrical force between red blood cells, which is called zeta potential, is preserved.
4. Structure - At a microscopic level, when water molecules clump together in groups / clusters, it is difficult for water molecules to get into your cells, due to their size. That means that if your water is not structured properly you will become dehydrated, no matter how much you drink! Smaller clusters hydrate the cells more easily. Water molecules that clump together do so because they have lost their negative charge. Toxins carry a positive charge, and will cancel the negative charge of molecules. As a result, they develop an affinity, and attract one another… forming clusters. Toxic water has large clusters, and therefore cannot fully hydrate the cells of the body. Singular molecules are needed.
5. Oxygenation - All bodily processes require oxygen to be completed. After the Creator, Oxygen is the next great need of the human body… and since the environment is desperately lacking in oxygen, we need oxygenated water in order to compensate. When water is oxygenated and ingested, the blood will carry more oxygen to the cells, which of course leads to more substantial cell repair. Furthermore, all dangerous micro-organisms need low oxygen levels to survive. Raising the oxygen levels in the blood not only purifies the cells, but kills dangerous pathogens, leaving the blood plasma in pristine condition.
